The above quote was taken from a book written by a well-known contemporary of the prince, whose name was the Earl of Chesterfield. This man, who was a great statesman, wrote this in regard to the way people in society acted and interacted with each other. In it he says that, if you go into a court, even a religious one, you will see people from all over the world interacting with each other in a civilized manner. People don’t think of these different faiths as being different religions at all, but rather as being from different backgrounds and having different beliefs.

When you think about it, it is hard to imagine a place where people would treat each other so civilly.
